- We may access your photos/media to let you import and create video stories. We do not perform facial recognition or create biometric templates.

2) Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account Information: name, username, email.
- Support and Communications: content you send to customer support (including attachments you choose to provide).
- Content you choose to provide in the App: titles, notes, captions, other text; and any media you select for your story.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device Information: device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone, and identifiers where available and permitted.
- Usage Data and Analytics: app interactions, feature usage, performance metrics, diagnostic data.
- Crash Logs: logs and diagnostic information when the App crashes or malfunctions.
2.3 Location information (only if you allow)
- Approximate location (city/region level).
- Precise location (GPS-level).
You can disable location permissions at any time in your device settings.
2.4 Photos and media access
The App lets you import photos/videos from your library or capture new content through your device camera (subject to your permission settings). Media is used to create your video stories.
No facial recognition / biometric processing: We do not use your photos to identify you, perform facial recognition, or create biometric profiles.
3) Optional AI-Assisted Features (User-Controlled)
Quarina may offer optional AI-assisted features to help generate or enhance video stories (for example, smart sequencing suggestions, transitions, titles, or audio matching).
If you choose to use these AI-assisted features:
- User control: you control whether to upload any image or text for AI processing and whether to generate content.
- Processing location: uploaded images/text are processed on Quarina Team–controlled servers (our own servers) to perform the requested generation.
- No third-party sharing: we do not share your uploaded images/text or generated results with any third party for their own purposes.
- Deletion after processing: we delete uploaded images/text and intermediate processing data immediately after processing is completed, except as needed for security logging and fraud prevention in a minimized form.
- No training/marketing: we do not use your uploaded content to train models or for marketing.
If you do not use AI-assisted features, AI processing does not occur.
5) How We Use Information
We use information for:
- providing and maintaining the Services (accounts, authentication, core creation features),
- personalization (saving preferences),
- improving the Services (debugging, performance, features),
- security and fraud prevention,
- customer support,
- legal compliance and enforcement.
We do not sell your personal information.
7) International Transfers
Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.
8) Data Security
We implement reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit/at rest where appropriate, access controls, regular reviews/audits, and backups.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
9) Data Retention
- Account data: retained for your account duration.
- Account deletion: delete/anonymize within 30 days after deletion, unless longer retention is required by law or to resolve disputes.
- Usage data and analytics: up to 12 months.
- Support records: up to 6 months.
- AI-assisted processing uploads: deleted immediately after processing.
10) Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict/ object to certain processing, or withdraw consent.

11) Children and Age Limit
The Services are intended for users aged 17 and older and are not directed to children.
12) Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may allow you to interact with third-party services (for example, sharing via third-party apps). This policy does not cover third-party processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date and, where required by law, provide additional notice.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Quarina Team’s principal place of business. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration except where prohibited by law.
