1) Eligibility (Age 17+)
The Services are intended only for users aged 17 and older. By
using the Services, you represent that you are at least 17 years
old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2) The Services
Quarina helps you capture the essence of your adventures by
transforming photos into captivating video stories. You can import
photos from your library or capture new content through the App,
arrange and sequence media, apply transition effects, add music or
audio clips, and add titles or notes.
3) Account Registration
You may need an account to use certain features. You agree to
provide accurate and complete information (such as name, username,
and email) and keep it updated. You are responsible for all
activity under your account and for keeping your credentials
confidential.
4) User Content and Ownership
4.1 Your content
You may upload, import, create, or otherwise make available
photos, videos, titles, notes, and audio (“User Content”). As
between you and Quarina Team, you retain ownership of your User
Content.
4.2 License to operate the Services
You grant Quarina Team a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide,
royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, and
display your User Content solely to provide and improve the
Services and to fulfill your requests (for example, to render a
video story). This license ends when your User Content is deleted
from the Services, except that:
- cached or backup copies may persist for a limited period,
-
copies may be retained as required by law or to resolve disputes.
4.3 Your responsibility
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to
provide your User Content and that it will not violate law or
infringe third-party rights.
5) Photos, Faces, and Biometrics
Quarina does not perform facial recognition and does not create
biometric identifiers or templates. Media processing is for
creating your video story and related features.
6) Optional AI-Assisted Features
If the Services offer optional AI-assisted generation features,
you control whether to use them and whether to upload images or
text for processing. When you choose to use AI-assisted features:

your uploads are processed on Quarina Team–controlled servers to
fulfill your request,
-
your uploads are not shared with third parties for their own
purposes, and
-
your uploads and intermediate processing data are deleted
immediately after processing is complete, except for minimal
security logging as needed.
7) Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- violate applicable law or regulation,
-
upload/share unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive,
defamatory, or infringing content,
- attempt unauthorized access,
-
interfere with or disrupt the Services (malware, scraping at
scale, API abuse),
-
reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code/underlying
models, except where prohibited by law,
- generate or distribute spam or deceptive content.
8) Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us the
right to use them without restriction or compensation.
9) Third-Party Services
The Services may allow you to interact with third-party services
(for example, sharing your exported video). Third-party services
are governed by their own terms and policies.
10) Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our privacy practices are
described in our privacy policy. By using the Services, you
acknowledge that you have read and understood those practices.
11) Modifications to the Services and Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Services at any time
and may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated”
date above indicates when these Terms were last updated. Continued
use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes
acceptance of the updated Terms.
12) Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or
terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these
Terms or if needed to protect the Services, users, or our rights.
13) Disclaimers
The Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” To the
maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties,
express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a
particular purpose, and non-infringement.
14) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quarina Team will not be
liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or
punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or
other intangible losses.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited
to the amount you paid (if any) to use the Services in the twelve
(12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
15) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quarina Team from and
against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses
(including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your User
Content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these
Terms or applicable law.
16) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Quarina Team’s principal
place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
17) Dispute Resolution; Binding Arbitration
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the
Services will be resolved through binding arbitration, except
where prohibited by law. You and Quarina Team waive any right to a
jury trial and to participate in a class action to the extent
permitted by law.
18) Severability
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining
provisions will remain in full force and effect.
19) Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with policies referenced herein, constitute
the entire agreement between you and Quarina Team regarding the
Services and supersede prior agreements.
